Sustainability Skillshare
To follow the Strategies for Sustainability confluence on 23rd March Sustainability Showcase are bringing Nicole Foss back to Brisbane for an in-depth skillshare day.
The skillshare will provide opportunities for learning in more depth and connecting with like and unlike-minds in order to focus on strategies for sustainability that we can implement in our own lives and communities. Workshops will be hands-on, so come expecting to participate, not just listen!
Workshops at this skillshare day will be delivered and facilitated by Nicole Foss, Ben Pennings of Generation Alpha, and Kari McGregor of Sustainability Showcase. For the full skillshare day program click here.

hi All,
for the future I think it is important to include workshop facilitators who have an explicit focus on revisioning community life and paradigms rather than merely critiquing or campaigning against old paradigms. Academics who are not doing anything in their personal lives, are also not particularly useful to be included in leadership. On the positive side, Nicole has a strong interest in permaculture and is actively implementing change in her personal life. That’s a fine example of cutting edge leadership. People who bridge theory and practice. People who are empowered and inspire hope for a better world.

I hope to attend on May 11th.
Have a read of James Lovelock, “The Vanishing Face of Gaia” before the session ― some very provocative stuff from the man who gave us the insight of the Earth as a living entity.
I will be in ‘Melbourne attending the National food summit when Nicole et al speak in Brisbane so 1) is it possible to view,listen to a recording f the day please and 2.) can you keep me on the loop for networking events please?

1)We do plan to have all showcases recorded and uploaded to a TED-like platform on our main website, but we are not certain if we will have the manpower and the logistics to do it on this promo tour.

Thanks, my plans have changed re other conference, so I will be able to come hear Nicole and the others speak now, hope she has some suggestions on where to go live with the weather chanes upon us.
